Aubrey Fletcher toured Vietnam recently and visited Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fletcher, assistant principal at Chaparral School, in Calgary, writes: “On our second day, we were treated to a serene boat tour of a remote fishing village. Many residents of this village have never set foot on land. They have a school, a community centre and even small container gardens. I took this photo as we slipped past two girls relaxing in a hammock. The photo speaks to the universal relaxation we all feel while supported in the caress of a hammock.”
